Coasting.
Coasting with the clutch means driving with clutch pedal pressed down. This means that altough the car is moving it is not being driven by the engine. Coasting is also allowing the car to run with the gear in neutral.
Any form of coasting is wrong, because it lessens the driver's control of the car. If you want to stop coasting when you are going to stop try to think of B.B.C. this means Brake Before Clutch.
Try to practise using the brake to slow you down, also try braking as you change down gears.
Try slowing down a little earlier to give yourself time to come off the clutch after each gearchange.
Remember that you may also block change gears (skip) as long as your speed is suitable for the gear that you are changing into.
It is important to practise slowing down using the brake only, try doing this from different speeds so that you will get used the car slowing down without stalling.
