Let up clutch to "Biting Point" this is the point where you feel a slight change in the sound of the engine. Hold clutch steady at this point.
Press accelerator until you get a purring sound, and keep it in that position
Check your mirrrors and over your shoulder for your "Blind Spot".
Give a signal, check again across your shoulder.
Release handbrake----place your hand on the steering as soon as handbrake is released.
Let up clutch a little more to get the car moving, as soon as it begins to move hold the clutch steady at this position. Make sure to keep the accelerator steady at this stage.
Once the car has moved about three to five metres release clutch fully. At this stage you may keep your foot near the clutch in case you need it.
